<p>And remember, this is a man who's only had one year of actual school.</p>

<p>He marries Mary Todd in 1842.</p>

<p>They live at , Globe Tavern, which is kind of close to where</p>

<p>his museum is today for a year.</p>

<p>And then they rent a house on 4th Street.</p>

<p>And so it's two years after he's moved into the House</p>

<p>He'll welcome three children in this house and he'll lose one in this house.</p>

<p>He'll die five weeks short of his fourth birthday.</p>

<p>So when you visit the Lincoln house, it's not only where all three boys,</p>

<p>So it's just, it shows you how, so much of the walls hold your life inside of it.</p>

<p>And for Lincoln, that is so true.</p>

<p>So when we walk through it, even in the parlor, that's where they</p>

<p>come in and tell him, you're the nominee for president, right?</p>

<p>And he doesn't accept it right away.</p>

<p>So, it's so amazing to be in the space, and that's what I always</p>

<p>It's where he's contemplating that.</p>

<p>You can picture the gentleman coming in, telling him, and then his contemplation</p>

<p>vast majority of the furniture and the items in the house, a lot of that</p>

<p>actually have to stay on the carpet.</p>

<p>So they have a carpet runner that's basically kind of going</p>

<p>And if you step off this carpet, there's actually like a little kind</p>
